6 Must-Have Accessories For Sarees

Sarees are undoubtedly the most common Indian wear. Be it party wear or daily office wear, sarees would always be in your top choices list. Although we believe a saree is a perfect piece of attire in itself, we support the idea of accessorizing the sarees to enhance the overall look.

But choosing the right accessories for sarees have never been easy. Things go wrong which makes women look overdressed and unappealing. And that’s something we would never want to happen to you. And what’s even worse is when it looks like you came straight out of your dressing room after draping a saree. Just the right amount of accessories for sarees is what you require.

Accessories For Sarees & Doing Them in The Right way

1. Bangles & Bracelets

Bangles have always been a favourite choice of Indian women, and they go well with sarees. Bangles and bracelets are available in many materials like gold, silver, steel, ferrous, wood, metal, and plastic and of course glass.

2. Bindi

If you think Bindi looks good only on married women, you’re mistaken. Young women have also tried on this beautiful accessory, and it looks fabulous on them. But making the right choice is necessary. The selection of the bindi must be governed by what kind of face structure you have. If your face is long, a round Bindi will look good. If you have a square or round face, go for a long bindi. Choice of bindi also depends on the look you’re aiming for. A fancy shimmery or stone-studded bindi would look you mature and gaudy while a plain small bindi would give you a cute girlish look.

3. Handbags:

They are the most useful piece of accessory used by women. Handbags help you carry a lot of useful stuff like money, makeup essentials, and your cell phone very easily. But make sure you don’t stuff your bag with too much stuff for that is harmful to your neck and shoulders.

For office wear sarees, go for a simple purse or probably a leather bag (false leather. We don’t want more animals to be killed because of our fashion suggestions). For a party wear look with sarees, embroidered handbags embellished with sequins, threadwork or beads would be perfect.

4. Kamarbandh

This isn’t a daily wear accessory but is ideal for a party wear or festive look with a saree. Kamarbandh is an Indian version of the belt that goes around your waist. It is usually worn with sarees or crop top lehenga styled suits that recently came into vogue. This accessory tops the list of our favourites. It is so good.kamarbandh for navratri
