1. Check your clothes for transparency

We don’t mind whatever clothes you wear. It’s your life and your choices. But you will certainly feel uncomfortable and exposed if you suddenly discover that your clothes have become all transparent. So, when you dig that very old suit/dress to wear on the festival day, wet it a little to see if it becomes transparent.

2. Cover your hair

There are so many ways you can protect your hair from harmful colors. We would suggest you to tie a scarf in a classy way to cover your head. It will be a different look and extremely beneficial for you if you want to save your hair.

3. Footwear

Just wear the chappals. End of conversation. There’s no reason why you should think of wearing anything else than normal chappals. They’re comfortable, less slippery and safe. They won’t get spoiled due to all those wet colors and water you’re going to spend your day with.

4. Pick light colors

This season pastels are trending. And for holi, they are perfect. The colors of the festival get highlighted when you wear light colored clothes or just wear white. It’s more about traditions (and most of the times, Indian traditions are formed after a lot of scientific research and beliefs).

That’s it. Didn’t we say it was going to be quick? We didn’t want to take a lot of your time. Just enjoy the day! Don’t forget to follow these simple tips to dress up on Holi. Happy Holi! <3
